In loving memory of Brittany Burnette Gibson (B.S.’14, Pharm.D.’18), a cherished alumna of our VCU community and member of Kappa Epsilon, we are proud to announce the Brittany Burnette Gibson Scholarship.

Brittany was a beacon of kindness, compassion and dedication. A loving wife and wonderful mother, her vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to pharmacy touched the lives of everyone she met. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a classmate or advocating for patient well-being, Brittany’s passion for pharmacy and serving others was contagious.

The scholarship

The Brittany Burnette Gibson Scholarship at the VCU School of Pharmacy seeks to honor Brittany’s legacy by supporting aspiring pharmacists who embody her values of empathy, integrity and service. This recruitment scholarship provides four years of financial assistance for students from rural central Virginia. Our aim is to inspire and empower students to pursue their educational dreams and make a meaningful impact in the field of pharmacy.
